Jennifer Gil, MC
Licensed Associate Counselor
Jennifer Gil earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Arizona State University. She is a licensed associate counselor, practicing under the supervision of Dr. Lynnette Suarez. Throughout various clinical opportunities, she has had the honor of working with individuals of marginalized backgrounds. Specifically, LGBTQ and BlPOC individuals as well as those in long-term care settings.
Her clinical experience includes working with individuals who struggle with racial trauma, developmental trauma, PTSD, life transitions, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, grief, ADHD, cognitive impairment of varying degrees, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. She uses an Integrative approach drawing from Attachment-based modalities in addition to CBT theory and Existential and Liberation philosophies.
Though the therapeutic relationship emphasizes the client, Jennifer believes in creating a space that welcomes interconnectedness. A feeling of mutual healing. She enjoys accompanying her clients through all of their life experiences.
