Bobby Madeira, MS
Licensed Associate Counselor
Bobby Madeira is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). He holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Graduate School.
Bobby had served as a law enforcement officer for over 24 years and honorably retired. Over the span of his career, he received the Medal of Valor on two distinct occasions, the Medal of Lifesaving, in addition to numerous Commendations for his actions taken in the line of duty. After attaining his license as an Associate Counselor, he began his practice as a Public Safety Outpatient Counselor where he primarily worked with first responders and their family members.
Bobby utilizes a number of therapeutic modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to assist his clients. He has worked with clients who have struggled with trauma, abuse, traumatic grief and loss, anxiety, depression, adjustment, and substance use issues.
Bobby strives to utilize his unique training and experience to assist his clients achieve their goals. He understands that every individual and situation is different which requires a tailored approach for each client. He provides an empathetic and non-judgmental environment where he helps to empower clients with the skills necessary to overcome and process adverse reactions to difficult situations or issues.
Bobby currently works at Sentience Psychological Services, PLLC as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) under the supervision of Dr. Linsey Lancellotti as he works towards his independent licensure (LPC).
