Erin Kube, PhD
Psychologist
Dr. Erin Kube (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist, holding board certification in geropsychology. Dr. Kube completed her Ph.D. in counseling psychology at Arizona State University, an APA approved predoctoral internship at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, and postdoctoral training in Geropsychology at the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System.
Dr. Kube has extensive training providing direct clinical care to older adults across a variety of settings, including primary care, acute and sub-acute medical rehabilitation, hospice and palliative care, residential specialty care, and outpatient clinics. She specializes in chronic pain management, insomnia, mood disorders, caregiver support, and adapting evidence based treatments to accommodate for cognitive impairment, sensory changes, and other diversity related needs.
Dr. Kube identifies largely as a cognitive-behavioral (behavioral) psychologist. She operates from an evidence-based, integrative framework and considers biopsychosocial factors when formulating case conceptualizations, conducting assessments, development treatment plans, and selecting interventions. She is deeply committed to continual growth in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
She also dedicates her time to professional service and serves on both the American Board of Geropsychology (ABGERO) and the Council of Professional Geropsychology Training Programs (CoPGTP). She holds active memberships in APA's Division 12 and Division 12-2, the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, and the Gerontological Society of America. She works at Sentience, PLLC as an independent contractor clinical supervisor.
