De'Ja Jackson, BA
Clinical Psychology Doctoral Trainee
De’Ja is a practicum doctoral student supervised by Dr. Linsey Lancellotti. She received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies - Applied Human Behavior from Northern Arizona University and is pursuing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the same institution.
De’Ja has previously worked at a non-profit organization that focused on providing support for parents coping with children experiencing mental health crises. She now holds a leadership role at Northern Arizona University’s North Valley Campus Pride Jacks official club, where she works to provide individuals with a safe space and collaborates with various organizations to discuss bills and laws affecting the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
As De’Ja refines her theoretical perspective, she remains committed to promoting mental health awareness and helping individuals achieve their personal and psychological well-being. She believes a tailored and collaborative therapeutic approach respects and integrates each person’s unique experiences and perspectives. Her clinical interests include trauma, personality disorders, coping with grief and loss, depression, and anxiety, and working with gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender individuals.
