Dr. Apker is a licensed clinical psychologist. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology and criminology/criminal justice from Arizona State University, his master's degree in forensic psychology at Argosy Phoenix, and his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Dr. Apker trained in a community psychology clinic, federal prison, private practice, and two different universities. After completing his training, he has worked with diverse groups of university students and medical professionals. In addition to treatment, Dr. Apker has experience in assessment and supervising training clinicians.

With his experience, Dr. Apker has developed a passion for helping people develop curiosity about themselves, gain new understandings, and have new experiences in the service of living a life more consistent with their values and goals. He is happy to be a part of Sentience Psychological Services, PLLC as an independent contractor, where he conducts social security disability evaluations and he serves as a supervisor to associate level staff and students.
